Alberta Paddling Symposium June 29-July 2nd

SAVE THE DATE for the Alberta Paddling Symposium June 29-July 2, 2012.

A multidisciplinary event that will be held in the Rocky Mountain House, AB area .  Activities will take place over the July long weekend, from Friday evening to Monday noon.  

Partners for this event are Paddle Alberta, Paddle Canada, Haskin Canoe, Hela Ventures, Undercurrents, and your local Paddle Canada and Paddle Alberta Instructors.  This event is also proudly sponsored by Kokatat Watersports Wear.

The “Sampler” sessions will allow participants to try out the following activities in half day clinics:

• Stand Up Paddle Boarding
• River Kayaking
• Sea Kayaking
• Canoeing, Tandem and Solo, from classic Canadian Style lake to whitewater, and introduction to skill development
• Rolling
• Surfing
• Big/Voyageur Canoes
• Youth on water sessions
