On the water in February with Kokatat, Jackson and Werner!

While it was not a warm and sunny day this past Saturday at Cultus Lake, we had a great time on the water with our sponsored kayak angler, Len Zilkowsky and some friends (thanks Michelle, Darcy, Avery and Teagan for joining us).

Getting outside in February is a must for everyone's mental health and what a perfect opportunity to try out the new Jackson Kayak SUP line up and sit on top, the Cruise.  A few folks even got to experience the JOY that is wearing a Kokatat Drysuit during this chilly time of year and here are a few photos to share.

Paddles of choice...Werner Paddles - for kayak fishing, recreational paddling, SUP and more!

Len, casting off the SUPerFishal - he enjoyed it as a stable platform for fly fishing and he was super stoked when we lent him our Kokatat Hydrus 3L Super Nova Angler Drysuit for the day.  Len is wearing the new 2013 colour - canvas/denim

We could not get Michelle out of the Cruise.  As a new paddler, she loved the stability of the boat and comfort of the hi-low seat specific to Jackson Kayaks.  The Kokatat front entry drysuit is the only way she would get on the water with us that day!

Looks like we are all having fun and even Darcy who prefers the ww kayaks gave the SUP boards a try.  THANKS Kokatat for keeping us dry and warm!

Avery took a break from his "new to him" slalom boat and checked things out on the SUPerNatural.  He cooled down quite a bit on the board and is now asking his Dad for the Kokatat Super Nova Youth drysuit.  Start saving your allowance Avery!

Teagan gets the good-sport award for the day, not much of a "paddler" she got dragged out to the lake by her Dad and brother :).  She was sporting a pretty great ride to get there though as she was in the bow of the Jackson Kayak Dynamic Duo!
