Chilliwack Vedder River Clean Up Re-Cap

We had a fantastic day this past Sunday celebrating BC Rivers Day and the Chilliwack Vedder River Clean Up.  The sun was out and folks came from all over the lower mainland to pick up garbage.

Volunteers were sent into 27 different areas from the lower Sumas River area to Slesse Creek in the upper river (regular area of coverage).  We had a record number of volunteers so we were also able to direct folks above our traditional area to Foley Lake and Creek, the Bench Road, and Middle Creek area which are, at times camping and therefore, messy areas.

A very special thanks to the Directors of the Chilliwack River Clean Up Society for the countless hours they put into the event and the passion in which they do it.  To all the companies that donate to our prize table -
