If you prefer extended paddling trips over day tripping like I do then this blogpost is for you.
The hard-working volunteers at the BC Marine Trails have put together a marine network of access points and campsites along the British Columbia coast and they are waiting for you to go and explore them.
The BC Marine Trail network has been designed by paddlers whose commitment is to establishing and protecting coastal access for canoes, kayaks and other small vessels.
If you have the ability and desire to do some volunteer work I am sure they would love to hear from you. You can contact BCMT President,Stephanie Meinke via email.
More information about the specific sites on the BC Marine Trail can be found on their website
