Aquabatics, northwest BC’s premiere paddlesports specialty shop, located in Smithers BC, is looking for full-time and part-time staff for the 2013 season.
Smithers is located in northwestern BC, a region known for clean and free-flowing rivers, beautiful lakes and easy access to the Pacific coast.
Many people move here for the lifestyle – there is great hiking, mountain biking, ski touring, track skiing, downhill skiing, sports fishing and more. Smithers has a strong sense of community, a rich arts culture, and is overall an great place to live!
Aquabatics is seeking one full-time employee and one part-time employee who are enthusiastic about paddling, resourceful and organized, and have excellent people skills.
The key responsibilities include providing a high level of customer service and the day-to-day running of the shop. Other responsibilities, depending on experience and qualifications can include inventory management, and on-water instruction and demos. The busy season is between late March to the end of September, and part-time work is available during the winter months. Schedule allowances can be made to accommodate the schedules of University and College students.
